Introduction

Our program specializes in concentrative treatment and educational program for HIVD of lumbar/cervical spine, Degenerative arthritis and Rheumatoid arthritis. This is a 1-week admission program that includes educational programs to better understand the disease and various treatments such as bee venom, kwan chim, thread embedding therapy, space spine manipulation, herbal medicine, traction therapy, Qigong, acupuncture, moxibustion and cupping.

Targets

  • - Patients in advanced stages of HIVD of lumbar/cervical spine, Degenerative arthritis and Rheumatoid arthritis
  • - Patients in need of intensive care due to motion restriction or severe pain
  • - Patients who are enable to receive outpatient treatment

Contents of 1-week program

1) Evaluation

Tests such as blood test, urine analysis, ECG, bone mineral density, sonography, x-ray, MRI, in-body test are carried out.
(Should the patient bring CD copies or doctor's note from previous hospitals, the tests may not be repeated.)

2) Oriental medical evaluation

Tests such as Ryodoraku analysis, Pulse analysis, HRV test, DITI are carried out.

3) Diet

The appropriate diet for each patient's state is evaluated and prescribed by a nutritionist.

4) Center specialized treatment and other oriental medical treatment

Treatments such as beevenom, gwan chim, acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, electroacupuncture, intradermal acupuncture, meridian manual therpay, thread embedding therapy, space spine manipulation and other forms of physical therapy are carried out.

5) Herbal medicine

During the 1-week period of time, each patient's condition and its changes are carefully evaluated by professional medical staff and personalized herbal medicine including Bogolgongjindan, Geunchildan, Gambisan is prescribed every day.

6) Collaborative treatment with Western medicine

If necessary, further tests and medical treatment can be provided in collaboration with Western medical departments such as Neurology, Rheumatology and Orthopedics.

7) Qigong treatment

The Natural Therapy Center within the hospital provides Qigong programs specialized to various diseases in order to maximize the qi circulation, balance the yin-yang and eventually promote the body's immune system.

8) Education

The patient can receive education about the appropriate exercise techniques and post-discharge lifestyle individualized to each condition.
